Chava (Michelle) Redonnet

Chava Redonnet is the pastor of Oscar Romero Inclusive Catholic Church, which meets in the dining room of the Rochester Catholic Worker, and of Iglesia de San Romero, a migrant community west of Rochester. She also works as a chaplain at St John’s Nursing Home in Rochester, and at Strong Memorial Hospital. For 30 years Chava was a member of the Corpus/Spiritus Christi community in Rochester. A graduate of Colgate Rochester Crozer Divinity School, she is the author of Standing in the Light, an account of the 1998 upheaval at Corpus Christi, and the formation of Spiritus Christi, and of Don’t Forget to Breathe Glory,  and Bound in a River of Light.
